You gotta hand it to Dumb Drum. The local Fresno blog is pretty good at making sure you know what new movies are coming out, and they are also cool enough to let you watch a trailer. Right on their site. Even better is the fact that they gave me two tickets to go see an advanced screening of A Perfect Getaway starring Milla Jovavich and Steve Zahn. Thanks guys!

The Great Fresno Tweetup Rocked!
Last night the Fresno Grizzlies hosted The Great Fresno Tweetup (#TGFT), with the help of the Fresno Bee. I was totally looking forward to it, as there was going to be a large section of the Fresno Twitterverse there, and I was looking forward to connecting with those tweeps that I didn't connect with last time. They made it easy for you to want to come, by providing those that RSVP'd with a five dollar ticket, and a coupon for a free drink. Oh yeah, of course I want to go.

My Marriage Story or How I Learned to Hate Alcoholics
I know this might come as a shock to most. Surely there's no one on this planet that would want to marry a fool like myself, especially one that is such a pain in the ass to deal with. I'm not the easiest person to get a long with, and I'm certainly not marriage material. Hell, I'm not even boyfriend material, but that's a whole 'nother story. But it did happen, I got married in 2004 to a girl I really thought had potential. Or at least that's what my self medicated brain was telling me. This is that story.

Sometimes, I Actually Post Some Art
I wish I could quantify how many ideas I get running through my head for drawings, and how many of them actually get drawn. I'm pretty sure that ratio is far skewed. But occasionally I do actually put down a few sketches just to play with and see how they look when I'm done. This is one of those occasions.

I'm jonesin' for some Chicken Fried Steak
If there's one thing I've noticed since moving to California, it's the complete lack of anything remotely close to being considered Chicken Fried Steak. Don't get me wrong, they have it, but it's not like home. Here, it's just a frozen piece of cardboard. You know, like they give you at Denny's. But I digress...
